Instructions for Authors

We are excited to receive your manuscript and look forward to your contribution to advancing the field of fuel cell technology. To ensure a smooth submission and review process, please carefully follow the instructions outlined below.

1. Manuscript Types

We accept the following types of manuscripts:

  • Original Research Articles: Presenting new research findings.
  • Review Articles: Comprehensive evaluations of existing literature and advancements.
  • Technical Notes: Brief reports on significant technical developments or innovations.
  • Case Studies: Detailed analyses of practical implementations and applications.
  • Opinion Pieces: Expert commentaries on current trends and future directions in fuel cell technology.

2. Manuscript Preparation

Formatting:

  • File Format: Manuscripts should be submitted in Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx) or LaTeX format.
  • Font and Size: Use a standard font (e.g., Times New Roman) in size 12 for the main text.
  • Line Spacing: Double-spaced throughout the manuscript.
  • Margins: 1-inch (2.54 cm) margins on all sides.
  • Page Numbers: Number all pages consecutively.

Structure:

  • Title Page: Include the title of the manuscript, author names, affiliations, and corresponding author contact information.
  • Abstract: Provide a concise summary of the research (150-250 words).
  • Keywords: List 3-5 keywords relevant to the manuscript.
  • Introduction: State the background, objectives, and significance of the study.
  • Methods: Describe the experimental procedures, data collection, and analysis methods.
  • Results: Present the main findings with appropriate tables and figures.
  • Discussion: Interpret the results, discuss implications, and compare with existing literature.
  • Conclusions: Summarize key findings and potential future directions.
  • Acknowledgments: Recognize any contributions or funding sources.
  • References: Follow the journal's referencing style (see "Reference Style" below).

Figures and Tables:

  • Figures: Submit high-resolution images (at least 300 dpi). Provide figure legends as a separate document.
  • Tables: Include tables in the manuscript file and ensure they are formatted clearly. Provide table captions as a separate document.

3. Submission Process

Online Submission:

  • Submit your manuscript through our online submission system.
  • Register or log in to your author account to upload your manuscript files and complete the submission process.

Cover Letter:

  • Include a cover letter with your submission. The letter should briefly describe the significance of your work, its originality, and why it is a good fit for Fuel Cells Bulletin Journal.

Conflict of Interest:

  • Declare any potential conflicts of interest in your cover letter or as a separate document.

Ethical Considerations:

  • Ensure that your manuscript adheres to ethical standards, including compliance with human and animal research guidelines, and obtain necessary approvals.

4. Review and Revision

Peer Review:

  • All manuscripts undergo a rigorous peer review process. Reviewers will evaluate the manuscript based on scientific quality, originality, and relevance to the field.

Revisions:

  • If revisions are requested, address all reviewer comments thoroughly and resubmit the revised manuscript by the specified deadline.

5. Reference Style

  • Follow the Journal's Reference Style Guide for formatting citations and references.
  • Use the author-date citation method, with full references listed at the end of the manuscript.

6. Ethics and Permissions

  • Ensure that all work complies with ethical standards and that you have obtained permissions for any third-party content used (e.g., figures, tables).

7. Copyright and Publication Fees

  • Upon acceptance, authors will be required to sign a copyright transfer agreement.
  • Be aware that publication fees may apply. Details will be provided upon acceptance of the manuscript.
